Just Cause 2 PC: Fix "Not Enough Storage Is Available To Complete This Operation" Windows 7
Dec 18, 2013PC GamingComments (21)
Many are receiving this error message when trying to start Just Cause 2 on their PC:
The first solution is to make sure you have enough free storage space and memory (RAM), and close any programs you don't need open. This is often not the real solution to the problem though. The error message may be very misleading.
Just Cause requires the gameux.dll file to exist in your Windows/System32 folder (and Windows/SysWOW64 folder for 64-bit Windows 7). This is part of the Windows Games Explorer program that many do not have. The easiest solution I found was to put the 32-bit and 64-bit gameux.dll files into the corresponding folders. I did not need to fully install Windows Games Explorer or any associated programs.
I zipped up the two dll files (one for 32-bit, one for 64-bit Windows 7). This worked for me on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Service Pack 1.
Download gameux.dll.zip (2.17 MB)
The correct file structure is included in the zip.
